Annapurna Interactive has revealed Bounty Star: The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem, an apocalyptic mech shooter from Dinogod.

Check out the reveal trailer for the game below:

The description reads:

“Bounty Star is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam in 2023. You play as Clementine McKinney, an ex-soldier without purpose or peace, as she gets back into a mech, fights bands of mercenaries, and learns to care about the post-post Apocalyptic desert home she intended to rot in.”

This is the latest game to attempt a funky spin on the Old West. Not only do we have Evil West on the way for September, but we also recently had Weird West. That game, from former Dishonored director Raphaël Colantonio, was an intriguing treat. In VideoGamer’s review, I said:

“This is where Weird West, over the course of its five campaigns, stamps itself not as a debut but as the work of a developer who is hungry to deliver that which still excites him: stories, decisions, and the notion that our yen for narrative excitement ought to be at home, not put aside, in an interactive medium.”

Bounty Star: The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem doesn’t have a fixed release date yet. But it’s coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
