With a new threat on the horizon, the Outriders Worldslayer DLC is a golden opportunity for players to take on challenging mobs and bosses whilst scooping up some incredible loot. Each cleared tier and fight will reward players with sweet loot. The DLC features new gear, weapons, mods, and 12 new Legendary armor sets for players to acquire. It has been confirmed that each class will have two class-specific armor sets and access to 4 universal sets. Sets are made up of 5 parts: headgear, body armor, leg armor, gloves, and shoes/boots.
Depending on their respective playstyles, players can customize their set and work with what they have to get the best out of Outriders Worldslayer. However, though the new armor options look great, not all legendary armor sets are created equal. Here are some of the very best legendary armor sets that players can grab for themselves. Despite there being armor sets that are class-crossing, the dedicated class armor options can offer more power and nuance.
4 Technomancer Flame Leper Set
Pain is the name of the game. The Flame Leper set understands this premise as this set inflicts Blightfire onto targets (which is a stronger variant of toxic). It has a set bonus whereby the toxic status is inflicted onto enemies upon damage. When an enemy has received toxic three times, the toxic status converts into Blightfire, which deals more damage over time. As a Devastator with this armor set, players will become melee killing machines as taking damage will increase their melee energy, which can be released and deal 80% of taken damage within a 10-meter radius. This also works in conjunction with the player’s armor rating, and since a Devastator’s armor rating is typically high, damage output can be pretty high.
This legendary armor set allows players to spawn a golem clone that lunges towards the nearest enemy, dealing 300% melee skill damage within a 3-meter radius and shocking nearby enemies. Durable and powerful, this is the build for any player looking to be unstoppable in melee.
2 Pyromancer Scorched Zealot Set
For any player looking for some more firepower, the Scorched Zealot set is the ticket to unleashing hell upon foes. This legendary set enhances the Pyromancer’s melee ability by allowing melee attacks to unleash flame projectiles that explode upon impact. Ash is also inflicted upon enemies, and projectile damage increases by a whopping 25% for each enemy hit by the Feed the Flames ability. For the coup de grace, activating the next melee skill does up to 100% bonus damage. If that isn’t pain, then what is.
More mods can be added to improve the Feed the Flames ability, providing excellent crowd control and consistent damage. This is an incredible armor set for players who want to skip out of a ranged damage build and go full-out melee.

Next up is something for the Trickster. The Shieldbeast legendary armor set bonus is that every percent of shield increases Anomaly Power by 1%. The shield mechanic will be familiar to those who are adept with the Trickster, and this mechanic can be improved with the right gear.
Considered to be a ‘bullet build’ with a twist, the Shieldbeast can become exceptionally powerful when players have enhanced certain abilities such as Twisted Rounds. This is apparent when the other two complementary skills are utilized to boost total damage output. This shield set has the potential to outperform many other legendary sets as the mods, complimentary stacks, and numbers speak for themselves. Fun, powerful, and a complete departure from other traditional builds, the Shieldbeast should be considered by players who want to enjoy the game through an unconventional style of play.
