Anonymous;Code has been officially announced for a Western release, with the latest entry in the Science Adventure visual novel series coming to PS4 in 2023.
A SteelBook launch edition of the game will be available to preorder on 5 July.
Anonymous;Code is set in the year 2036, when an event called the "2036 Problem" occurs, which is an online incident that causes the destruction of major cities worldwide. An eclectic group of hackers race against time to prevent such an event from happening again.
Previously, developer MAGES had teased somewhat cryptically that an announcement was coming "soon".
Anonymous;Code will release first in Japan for PS4 on 28 July.

Was this the title that has been in development for years and was originally being made for the Vita?
Steins;Gate is one of the most wonderful, interesting, clever VNs ever.
Nice aesthetic, and appreciate the greater amount of animation on display compared to your typical VN that only utilizes CGs.
Kinda weird that Chaos;Head Noah is only releasing on Switch this year, though, considering the heavy amount of support for Science Adventure games on PS4.
