An upcoming TV show based on Guerilla’s Horizon series at Netflix appears to have a name: Horizon 2074.

The name was spotted by Jeff Grubb on the website of the Director’s Guild of Canada. As Video Games Chronicle also reported, the list includes the names of 27 crew members attached to the project. These include first assistant director Jack Boem, who’s worked on Amazon’s The Boys and the recent Resident Evil movie.

It was first revealed that a Horizon TV show was in production back in May. During a PlayStation Business Briefing by Sony, the company revealed several non-game PlayStation projects. These included a God of War series at Amazon and a Gran Turismo movie. Meanwhile, it seems it was Netflix who picked up this Horizon project.

Further details on the series were reported by Jeff. During an episode of his Grubb Snax video show, he claimed the series will take place across two timelines. Both the future robot-animal dwelling future where the games are largely set, and the era with the events that kick off that world as we know it. It’s also said that the show won’t retell Aloy’s story, but rather run in parallel with the world of the games. Whether characters we know and love from the games will cross paths with the TV show, we’re yet to find out.

Meanwhile, back in the world of the games, Horizon Forbidden West came out earlier this year. Barring any as-yet-unannounced expansions, our next foray into Aloy’s world will be Horizon: Call of the Mountain. That’ll be a launch game for the as-yet-undated PlayStation VR2 headset.
