Red Dead Redemption 2 has been such a popular game over the years that many fans have been inspired to recreate things and people from inside the Western title. One Red Dead Redemption 2 fan showed their love of the game by making an illustration that was so true to the game's art style that it looks like someone at Rockstar made it.

Fans typically love the Van der Linde Gang because they have such a unique style in the world of video games. They have such well-fleshed-out personalities and looks, and that's led more than a few people to pay homage to the immersive Old West game with different styles of artwork.

Reddit user guffysama showed off how they paid homage to RDR2 with an illustration of Sadie where she's sitting against some sort of dirt mound, reclining and showing off her pistol. The entire picture is done, as the user pointed out, in the same kind of style that Rockstar does for its official illustrations of characters. The user made it clear that their style was indeed supposed to mimic the "OG style."

Many other Reddit users were quick to pay guffysama quite a few compliments, with one saying that there would be no way to tell that this wasn't indeed something that was issued by the game's developers. Another pointed out there were a few differences here and there, though they did admit finding those differences was due to being "extraordinarily picky."

As has been the case with other Red Dead Redemption 2 drawings and illustrations, other users were quite interested to know just how guffysama managed to come up with their work. The poster laid out the tools they used, which was the Infinite Painter app on the Galaxy Tab S7 FE while using the "paint stroke" brush in that app. Still, others were so impressed by the work that they asked if they'd be able to use the picture for their wallpaper on their phone.

This illustration is far from the first drawing or painting that was made to pay homage to a character or characters from RDR2. However, there are people out there who have gone even further to show off how much they love the characters and the level of detail in the game. The game's ending so inspired one player that they went so far as to make their own Beecher's Hope in the real world.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
