JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R just unlocked an Early Access Demo on PlayStation platforms, so you can strike a pose and look amazing while coming out victorious.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is now playable for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners, with Switch pre-orders have also opened up.
Fans of the audacious anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure will likely already be aware that the crushing new battler JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is coming to PlayStation and Switch platforms. After a tumultuous wait, players waiting to get into action and control their favorite incarnations of this long running anime can download a demo from the PlayStation store. From right now up until 22 June, players picking up this demo can try out Online PvP and Practice Modes.
These two trial modes are only a couple of the upcoming title’s full 6 featured game types but should give potential JoJo’s a preview of how the game handles. This is no One Piece Treasure Cruise, after all. The demo includes a completely modernized and up-tempo fight system in the game, featuring hit stops, dashes, intricate new combos including each character’s special “Stand” attack, and an all-new “Support Attack” tag-team system.
While we’d love to pick from a full selection, the demo limits everyone to iconic JoJo characters, with Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, DIO, and Jolyne Cujoh. If you’re still interested but not sure if this is a cash grab or an experience that will stay true to Hirohiko Araki’s captivating art style and overall vision, then the best start is to check out the trailer ahead of the 2 September 2022 release window.
