Admittedly, it's still a bit of a sore point for some to bring up the name Cyberpunk 2077. It may be one of the most expensive video games ever made, but when the game launched, many wondered where all that money went after paying for Keanu Reeve's likeness and voice acting abilities. However, the game has come a long way since it first released in 2020, and numerous updates have made the game more playable, especially on console. There are, of course, unofficial mods as well, and some of them blend CD Projekt Red's sci-fi world with another similar franchise.

DSO Gaming has cobbled together a few add-ons for Cyberpunk 2077 that aim to make it look quite similar to the Deus Ex franchise, specifically the more recent entries. For anyone who wants to see what these two look like under one roof, there is a mod called "Deus Ex Outfit And Cyberarms," which does exactly what it says on the tin. Naturally, V in Cyberpunk 2077 is played in first-person, except when driving, so players may not get to see the whole outfit all the time. However, on top of this, there are also mods that change the font and GUI to make it seem more like Eidos Montreal's cyberpunk-esque series. A video of one of the cyberarm mods can be seen below.

It seems like these two games coming together was an inevitability. They both have a similar look about them and both heavily feature human augmentations as part of their story elements. Deus Ex is also considered one of the best stealth franchises around, up there with the likes of Metal Gear Solid 5 and Dishonored. Both that series and Cyberpunk 2077 blend stealth and action in a rather dystopian future set in an open-world environment.

There are plenty of additional mods out there for Cyberpunk 2077. Some of them alter the game in significant ways, such as implementing a third-person perspective, adding car customization, and even introducing metro transportation.

CD Projekt Red's game may have stumbled at the start, but it seems to have picked itself back up. In fact, it's been stated that Cyberpunk 2077 DLC is currently in the pipeline, with some story elements having been leaked. The game may have started off on the wrong foot, but the numerous patches have attempted to right the many many wrongs and it seems to be in good stead these days, though for some it may be too little too late.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
