The uber-popular battle royale game that is Fortnite is no stranger to odd collaborations with other brands and IPs. From Star Wars and Marvel to Indiana Jones and God of War, there are barely any major properties out there that Epic Games hasn't mixed together with its free-to-play multiplayer shooter.
And now, the next collab to hit Fortnite has been announced, and it's none other than the indie sensation Among Us. The little characters known as Crewmates from the social deduction game aren't coming as full-blown skins our outfits, but, instead, they're coming as Back Blings (and there's an emote, too).
How to Get Among Us Cosmetics in Fortnite Season 3
Starting today (June 9) until June 9 of 2023, anyone who buys Among Us on the Epic Games Store, which costs $5 at the time of writing, by the way, will get the Crewmate Back Bling and the Distraction Dance Emote for no extra costs. Folks can also purchase the Among Us Stars Pack on Epic's digital storefront to gain access to the cosmetics.
For those that already own Among Us on the Epic Games Store, they can just buy any Stars Pack to unlock the items.
The Crewmate Back Bling comes in ten different colors based on the characters from Among Us: Red, Blue, Green, Pink, Orange, Black, White, Yellow, Brown, and Purple.
And don't worry about missing out on these items, as they will eventually become available in the in-game shop, but Epic confirmed no detailed release window.
This new Fortnite collaboration comes right at the start of the new party-themed season called Vibin'. Ballers are unvaulted from Chapter 1; there are new Mythic weapons to find; the Reality Tree is taking over part of the map, and Indiana Jones is part of the Battle Pass.
And also, there are collectible items called Tover Tokens scattered across various landmarks and points of interest. Grabbing these will unlock Snap skins for one of the new customizable Battle Pass outfits.
