God of War Ragnarok PS5 PS4 Thor

Voice actor for Thor in God of War Ragnarok, Ryan Hurst, has revealed his work on the project is complete after talking about the role in a recent panel at Comic Com Revolution. The event took place late last month, and after discussing his work on the second season of Disney+ show The Mysterious Benedict Society, Hurst says he's also wrapped up the "last little tiny bit of God of War [Ragnarok] for Thor".

He then goes on to discuss how Sony pitched the role to him, with representatives visiting Hurst's house "for like five hours", where they broke down the story for the sequel and shared artwork. The narrative is said to be "super complex" and "a rich tapestry of stuff".

This is yet another hint that God of War Ragnarok is closing in on the development finishing line, with the game still slated for a 2022 release. Recent updates on the project include a South Korean age rating and developer Santa Monica Studio reiterating the sequel will indeed launch this year. Fans will turn towards this week's Summer Game Fest Live in the hopes of an update — whether that be a new trailer, gameplay clip, or a confirmed release date.
