Fortnite has kicked off Chapter 3, Season 3 of the battle royale shooter this weekend, entitled Vibin.

The new season was heralded by the Collision event, which saw players team up to pilot huge mechs. After the dust had settled, and the servers reset, players were introduced to a bunch of new features. This included a new biome on the game’s map known as Reality Falls, resplendent with mushrooms, purple trees and a huge Reality Tree.

Elsewhere, players can now find a few new methods of transport to get themselves around the battle royale’s map. Ballers have returned and still allow you to grapple to walls. However, there’s also a new rollercoaster that utilises them that you can ride on. If that’s not your bag, you can also now find wolves and boars around the map you can hop on the back of and ride. And yes, you can still shoot and throw while mounted.

New weapons include the Two Shot Shotgun, the Designated Marksman Rifle and the Hammer Assault Rifle. Sliding’s also been given a tweak, so now you’ll carry on with your slide and your momentum maintained. There’s also a new Storm Sickness twist to proceedings. Stay too long in the storm, and you’ll find it effects you more exponentially than before.

A new season means a new Battle Pass too of course. Among this month’s characters are a pair of LucasArts favourites, with Indiana Jones and Darth Vader both part of the pass. You can check out the full details on that and all the other changes on the Fortnite website.
