Elder Scrolls Online Gives Players Some Tips To Prep For Next Week's High Isle Launch

Elder Scrolls Online's High Isle chapter release is next week on PC, Mac, and Stadia and the team behind the MMO has a few tips for players looking to find their footing before sailing for the Systres Archipelago.

For those who haven't been paying attention, High Isle is the next chapter in The Elder Scrolls Online's story, bringing players to the Systres Archipelago to help uncover the mystery behind the Ascendant Order. While every Chapter can be played without ever needing to play ESO before, it does help to have a bit more context as well.

Since High Isle is the home of the Bretons, it makes sense ZeniMax would point players in the direction of one of the original (in fact, the original) zone in ESO that dealt with them: Glenumbra. Players can get in a Breton mood exploring the region and taking part in some of the earliest stories ESO had to tell leading into the upcoming Chapter release.

Additionally, The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle's prologue DLC is available and free to all players right now, which will directly tie into the events that kick off when you arrive in the Systres next week. Additionally, the Ascending Tide DLC kicked off the Legacy of the Bretons storyline with two dungeons to check out ahead of High Isle.

"If you’re looking to kick off your Legacy of the Bretons adventure with a challenge, you should venture into Coral Aerie and Shipwright’s Regret, the Ascending Tide’s two DLC dungeons. The quests in these PvE activities set up the Legacy of the Bretons adventure to come while introducing some of the characters (and villains) you’ll encounter in the High Isle Chapter."

Coming with High Isle is a new tavern game, Tales of Tribute, giving players another activity to pursue in between Delves and World Bosses. You can get a jumpstart on the rules with a new video tutorial so you can start to dominate the leaderboards next week.

You can check out the full post on the ESO website. We're excited for The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle, though we'd be remiss if we didn't have some concerns
