With Red Dead Redemption 2 being such a popular game, it is not too surprising that some interesting mods have been created for the beloved western. One of the latest mods is both silly and entertaining, as it sees Red Dead Redemption 2 protagonist Arthur Morgan growing to be incredibly tall.

While the mod provides a very different view of Arthur Morgan, it also gives viewers a new perspective on Red Dead Redemption 2’s world. Widely regarded as one of the most immersive open-worlds in gaming, Red Dead Redemption 2’s play space is full of realistic NPCs and wildlife for players to interact with. However, thanks to a mod that essentially triples the size of Arthur, the world becomes far more funny than realistic.

The mod in question was shown off by YouTuber Seecked, and the video of big Arthur in action makes for a truly fun watch. A lot of silly moments can be seen in the clip, such as Arthur getting stuck on the Saint Denis sign due to his unnatural size. Other funny moments see the enlarged Arthur tripping over regular-sized civilians and riding a boat - a goofy sight since Arthur is larger than his vessel of choice and has to wrap his legs around it. However, it is tough to top the view of the enlarged Arthur Morgan riding a horse.

Obviously, Arthur’s horse retains its regular size, ensuring that it is not nearly big enough to hold a fully-sized man on its back. Seeing the horse gallop and tip over is very comical, and the visual could prove familiar to fans of FromSoftware’s hit game Elden Ring. After all, Radahn and his horse have been subject to plenty of memes, even if the backstory behind the pair is incredibly tragic. In the case of Arthur and his horse, though, things are purely comedic.

Following the interaction with one of Red Dead Redemption 2’s horses, the YouTuber does some more tests. Fans get a first person view, with Arthur looking down on some NPCs, while swimming is shown off as well. Near the end of the video, Seecked even tries to battle a bear, ensuring that Arthur only uses his fists. However, this goes about as bad as one would expect, with the content creator forced to shoot the bear in order to survive. With big Arthur’s health remaining the same, his height difference is not very beneficial in a fight.

This would certainly be an entertaining Red Dead Online mod, as it would be intriguing to see several giants roaming the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. For now, though, this weird mod serves as a way to goof around in singleplayer.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
