Elden Ring features a massive map to explore. The Lands Between are downright daunting, with so many different locations for players to discover, unlock, and search through. Along the way, players will find quests, gain key items, and tangle with secret bosses. But some of the places that players will discover are rather mysterious in their own right. Take, for example, the Four Belfries. Many players will accidentally stumble across this strange series of tower-like structures, which have their own magical mechanics.

Much like the other puzzles found in Elden Ring, the Four Belfries have their own unique solution. Players will need to get their hands on some key items if they wish to collect all that the Four Belfries has to offer. Here's a look at where players can find the mysterious location and exactly what they're supposed to do there.

Where Are The Four Belfries Located In Elden Ring?

Finding the Four Belfries is pretty simple, but their location is slightly off-the-beaten-path, meaning players can easily miss the towering structures if they aren't seeking them out directly. The easiest way to reach the landmark and its accompanying Site of Grace is to start at the Northern Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace, which is Northwest of the Academy of Raya Lucaria. The Site of Grace can be found on the roadway that leads towards the Caria Manor. Once players have unlocked this Site of Grace, they can follow the roadway to the Southwest.

While making their way Southwest along the road, players should encounter an Enemy Caravan. Continuing past this group, players will eventually reach the Foot of the Four Belfries Site of Grace. From there, they can head Northeast along the roadway and follow it up a small mountain to reach the towering structures. If players continue to the top of this area, they will find a Site of Grace near the final belfry, as well as a chest.

What Do Players Do At The Four Belfries?

Elden Ring Four Belfries First Imbued

The Four Belfries consist of four large tower-like strictures with massive bells adorning their peaks. At the base of three of these towers is a waygate, with the fourth tower (nearest the Site of Grace) containing a chest. Players can open this chest to find a special Imbued Sword Key. This key item will open any one of the waygates at the base of the remaining towers. Players are free to choose any of the gates they wish.

To unlock all three waygates, players will need a total of three Imbued Sword Keys. The first is found in the chest at the Four Belfries itself, while the other two are found in two other locations in the Lands Between. Players that are struggling to find the remaining keys, and also want to know where the gates lead to exactly, can follow along with this guide.
