Bungie has detailed what Destiny 2 fans can expect in the new Season of the Haunted, which launches today for the shooter.

The season will see the return of The Leviathan, the former warship of the Emperor which has now become something of a ghost vessel. The Pyramid has corrupted the vessel, and brought to life nightmares from the past. It’ll be down to you as the Guardians to step on board in the Nightmare Containment and Sever events.

Elsewhere, the Season also includes an overhaul of the Solar subclass. Dubbed Solar 3.0, the new redesign allows players to use the power of the sun to bring the heat in a bunch of new ways. Gear wise, players can also nab the Trespasser Exotic Sidearm returning from the original Destiny.

Naturally, the season also contains plenty of new weapons, new cosmetics and a brand new season pass with rewards to earn too. There’ll also be the return of the Solstice Event during the season too, with some updates for 2022. Friday will also the launch of the first of two dungeons for those who bought Destiny 2: The Witch Queen‘s Deluxe Edition. If you didn’t you can also get access with The Witch Queen Dungeon Key for 2000 silver.
