As the world ventures into a new way of inclusion, it is perhaps no surprise that the entertainment industry is the forerunner in spreading the message. Video games are beloved by kids, youth, and everyone alike, making them the perfect platform to bring about and instill that change.

As time has passed, so too have the old ways of narratives and generic character pieces in the gaming world. Of course, female representation has been taken into consideration for quite a while now. In modern times though, in-depth narratives and character diversity have given female gamers a chance to escape into fantasy worlds full of strong female characters; many of whom have white hair.

Updated December 21, 2022, by Hemanth Kumarr Kumanan: Characters in video games are expanding to the far corners of the gaming industry, and with each passing day comes a character to remember. Of course, there are such games that become duds and many that go on to become blockbusters, but be what it may, some characters leave a long-lasting impression.

Be it the Iconic white-haired Ciri from the Witcher series or the nostalgic Elena from Street Fighter, some characters are unerasable in digital history!

10 Ashe - Overwatch

Starting things off with Ashe from Overwatch, Elizabeth Caledonia "Calamity" Ashe hails from the USA and has a very distinct fashion statement that goes well with her attitude. Growing up, Ashe was prone to getting into trouble at her school and spent time alone in her family estate. The absence of her wealthy parents gave way to her growing up with her guns and spending her time shooting bottles on the family estate with her slingshot.

Ashe takes pride in portraying herself as a strong-willed gunslinging businesswoman, or, in this case, the top gun of the clan. The notorious thief and the leader of the Deadlock gang can be seen sporting her neck-length silky white hair underneath her cowboy hat. She sticks to a native fashion statement with a tie, waistcoat, and trousers screaming the Texan way all throughout.

9 Kaine - Nier

Nier Kaine Kick

Kaine made her debut in the sci-fi RPG action game Nier in 2010 and has a peculiar character trait. Like her dual swords, she plays host to a conscience named Tyrann, who controls the left side of her body. The siren manages to pull herself to balance with Nier both at times of battle or as just a companion in need.

She covers her body's left half, thoroughly wrapped in a bandage to keep Tyran away from the open public. This is an outcome of the rough childhood trauma that Kaine went through because of her Hybrid body type. The 20-year-old sports her silk white hair in a nicely kept hair bun and a fitting robe (widely known as a Lingerie) to go with it. If looks can be deceptive, Kaine is a prime example of this.

8 Alisaie Leveilleur- Final Fantasy 14

Final Fantasy XIV Alisaie Leveilleur

Alisa Leveilleur features in Final Fantasy XIV's Binding Coil of Bahamut quest. Hailing from the Dravanian Hinterlands, she and her twin brother come to Eorzea to seek the truth about their grandfather's actions. Since then, she has been a mainstay in the game's five other expansions.

The 16-year-old can be seen sporting dark blue clothing that matches her brother's and a red knotted tie for her ponytail. Although she has the White Grimoire in her arsenal, her magically conjured blades are her primary go-to weapons.

7 Elena - Street Fighter

Princess-Elena-Street-Fighter1

Elena debuted in Capcom's Street Fighter III: New Generation, which was released in 1997. The tall and athletic woman hails from Kenya and is well-versed in the capoeira technique from her nativity. As per her story, she is an aspiring student who traveled to America in order to pursue higher education.

Elena maintains a very minimalist approach to her robes but garners attention to the limb rings on her hands and legs. Her overall looks would draw comparisons to other characters in the franchise, such as Sakura and Ibito. Measuring a rangy 6 feet, she holds the title of the tallest female in the franchise to date. Elena also tops the charts for being the most revealing female character in the franchise's history.

The YoRHA sports a black military-grade visor with an ear-length bob cut. A high slit black robe paired with long-length boots and stiletto heels make up the rest of her attire. Her sweet face and fashionable outfit can be a little deceiving. The android's weapons are deadly at close range while the pods support system can annihilate enemies at long distances.

5 Christie - Dead or Alive 3

People privy to the Dead or Alive franchise would be very aware of the vile Christie. The White-haired assassin made her debut in the franchise's third installment, which was released in 2001 for the old Xbox.

1 Ciri - Witcher

Elden Ring Player Makes Witcher 3's Ciri in Character Creator

Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon - better known as Ciri - made her debut in the third installment of the franchise and immediately rose to being a global fan favorite.

As per the story, Ciri of Vengerberg is the rightful heir to the throne of Cintra.
