Amazon Games has announced that the latest content update to its MMORPG Lost Ark has officially launched. Players will be pleased to find lots of new experiences to explore including the Valtan Legion Raid, the Destroyer advanced class, the Deskaluda Guardian Raid, new guild activities, and much more.
Valtan will introduce the first Legion Raid into the western version of Lost Ark. Legion Raids are difficult team-based activities that require teamwork to understand and execute the strategy necessary to counter each Legion Commander’s unique characteristics, abilities, and mechanics. As Legion Raids are challenging and take time, there are gates (or checkpoints) that will save players’ progress as they advance through the Raid.
Valtan is an eight-player Legion raid, has 2 gates, and introduces a swathe of new mechanics. Players will need to be item level 1415 to attempt normal difficulty, and 1445 for hard. The Destroyer advanced class brings a variety of new skills to players who love to be front and center in any fight, especially with a large and impressive hammer. Destroyers can slow, launch, push, and/or pull enemies depending on the ability used. This is the fourth Warrior advanced class alongside Berserkers, Paladins, and Gunlancers.
Other components of the update include:
- Deskaluda Guardian Raid requires a level 1415 item to enter.
- Challenge Guardians offers players a trio of tough bosses, each with their own item level to enter. Great risk = great reward
- Guild Activities including both PvP and PvE opportunities such as Island Siege and Raid Match
- Three levels were added to the South Vern Chaos Dungeon
- Wings Island is filled with Crispy Golden Chickings who are ready to “seek revenge for eating their friends and family”
- A host of store updates with new cosmetics
- Quality of Life improvements in menus, options, and settings
- Market and Auction House improvements
- Stronghold improvements
- Bug fixes, feature enhancements
