Marvel's Avengers players remember when the only thing they needed to worry about was what content to expect for the duration of 2022. It seems now that there have been viable reasons for why a content roadmap has been delayed as long as it has, and the future of Marvel's Avengers may be a point of contention from this point forward after Embracer Group's acquisition of Crystal Dynamics.

However, it has been announced that Marvel's Avengers will debut Jane Foster's Mighty Thor in a future update that may also tie in with the theatrical release of Thor: Love and Thunder. Therefore, Crystal Dynamics does intend to continue updating Marvel's Avengers, but it is not certain how long these updates and DLC additions may persist. In the meantime, fans can always anticipate additional MCU-inspired skins as they have become a staple. Today, the latest MCU cosmetic outfit has been added to Tony Stark's eclectic wardrobe of Iron Man suits.

Iron Man's Mark XLVI, or Mark 46, is available now for purchase in Marvel's Avengers' Marketplace. Mark 46 is one of the bulkier suits in Stark's MCU armory and looks aesthetically like a mixture of the Mark 3 armor from Iron Man and the Mark 43 armor from Avengers: Age of Ultron. Mark 46, which sports a vibrant cherry red with gold and silver accents, is popular in its climactic battles from Captain America: Civil War. In the Mark 46 armor, Stark goes toe-to-toe with both the Winter Soldier and Captain America after Stark learns a dark truth about what happened to his parents.

Marvel's Avengers has been gradually implementing more outfits from Captain America: Civil War as time has passed. On Iron Man's side of the Avengers' heated dispute, only two characters from the MCU are omitted from Marvel's Avengers: War Machine and Vision. Otherwise, Black Panther and Black Widow appear in Marvel's Avengers, but Black Widow has not yet received an associable skin from the film. Hawkeye has, though he resides on Captain America's side.

Marvel's Avengers includes Black Panther MCU skins, such as his suit from Captain America: Civil War, where the character made his MCU debut. More cosmetics for each character's MCU adaptations are more than likely in the pipeline still and may make up a majority of the regular content players can anticipate well into the summer.

Jane's Thor will be an exciting addition later on in the year. Then, if a roadmap is still on the way, it will be interesting to see how Embracer Group's acquisition will affect Marvel's Avengers and any future development plans.

Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
