Blizzard Entertainment continues to add to World of Warcraft with new content, mechanics, fixes, and more, with small patches coming to the MMO regularly and big ones more sparingly. An update to World of Warcraft this week returns a World Boss to Vol'dun in Zandalar that rewards players with a fan-favorite Alpaca mount.

Beginning on May 17, World of Warcraft players that explore Vol'dun and complete World Quests as they adventure may have encountered the returning World Boss called Dunegorger Kraulok. Despite this enemy rewarding players with Mollie the Alpaca mount, the boss is a bone dinosaur that can be located in the Bone Pit. World of Warcraft fans trying to acquire the Alpaca mount may need patience as they wait for the World Boss to spawn because it's on a rotation with five other bosses shared between Kul'Tiras and Zandalar.

Dunegorger Kraulok can be found near the center of Vol'dun, the zone that introduced World of Warcraft players to the Vulpera Horde allied race in World of Warcraft. Alpacas are known for traversing sandy terrain more effectively than horses, making Vol'dun a fitting location to attain Mollie from the powerful World Boss that may require multiple players to defeat. Dunegorger Kraulok has rewarded players with Mollie the Alpaca since patch 8.3, though many have reported farming the mount several times to no avail, while the World Boss may also drop various armor pieces and a trinket.

World of Warcraft fans will be able to defeat Dunegorger Kraulok to acquire a new mount until May 24 when a new World Boss rotation will be implemented, leaving players at level 46 or higher with only a few days to camp the Bone Pit of Vol'dun. Alpaca enthusiasts that aren't able to defeat the World Boss in time may also acquire World of Warcraft Alpacas by feeding Seaside Leafy Greens Mix to the rare spawn Elusive Quickhoof or from the daily "Alpaca It Up" which takes about seven days to complete. The Reins of the Elusive Quickhoof and Reins of the Springfur Alpaca aren't put on the same restrictions as Mollie the Alpaca, making them accessible even beyond this week.

World of Warcraft fans will have to avoid the particularly powerful attacks from Dunegorger Kraulok like Shake Loose which spawns Ravenous Ranishu mobs, Shattered Psyche's stacking debuff, and the Earth Spike area of effect. Dunegorger Kraulok uses Sonic Bellow to damage any World of Warcraft players in front of them, while its Primal Rage ability unleashes a full onslaught on the player with aggro. Mount farming is a common pastime for many max-level World of Warcraft players and tons of them are already waiting for the recently returned World Boss to spawn so that they can potentially receive the Slightly Damp Pile of Fur item that gives players the mount once clicked.

World of Warcraft is available now for Mac and PC.
