ArenaNet, the studio behind one of the online industry’s biggest MMOs, is about to wind back the clock again, when the next part of Living World Season 1 Return remakes the way we see good old Lion’s Arch.
Lion’s Arch, the central player hub and launch pad for many adventures has seen some serious action over the lifetime of Guild Wars 2. Now new players who missed out on some of the game’s biggest moments in Season 1 of Living World will get to see the much lamented old Lion’s Arch. Due to drop on 24 May and opening with a mysterious message, the newest old update will lead players to the much missed build of this city by the sea.
Not only will it find players touring the earliest version of this location, but you’ll meet Captain Mai Trin and detective Marjory Delaqua for the first time. It isn’t all old time adventures, however. The newest content will add in the next Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons™ Challenge Mode Strike Mission and a set of Generation 3 legendary weapon variant skins inspired by the Elder Dragon of Death and Shadow, Zhaitan.
With plenty of upcoming extra content as well as a tour of the old city, we cannot wait to get past hammering in signposts and relive the adventure of old, even if there aren’t any Karka this time around. You can find out more about the upcoming return to Lion’s Arch over at the official Guild Wars 2 website.
