Lost Ark has just dropped a new update for Amazon’s new ARPG and players can get some action as they experience the Battle for the Throne of Chaos update.
After a wildly successful launch back in February this year, Lost Ark is ready to invite players to take on a new update as the conquest of the Throne of Chaos begins. Players ready to take up arms and come out victorious might want to consider their approach with the latest advanced class update coming to this adventure.
Available now, and possibly the headline of this new add-on is the Glaivier advanced class. This skillful new warrior is an expansion on the Martial Artist, one of Lost Ark’s five main class archetypes. Like most Martial Artist spin-offs, this is a master of close-quarters combat. Unlike other similar advanced classes, the Glaivier wields two weapons, the spear and glaive. Swapping between Focus and Flurry skill sets, the Glaivier can change play style with a single stance shift.
The new update also adds in an additional continent. Opening up the region of South Vern, explorers will find a landscape transformed. Settlers here borrowed technology from many different races, and forged a continent from a once barren land. Unlike the distinctly different areas of the core game, South Vern is a melting pot of ideas that holds its own mysteries.
This is barely the start of what’s to come, and plenty of new quests, combat, challenges, and experiences await. Amazon has dropped a trailer for the new area above and players can kick off their new Battle for the Throne of Chaos right now over on the official Lost Ark website.
