Volition and Deep Silver have, as previously promised, dropped a new customization trailer for their upcoming reboot of Saints Row.

The footage came as part of a 23-minute Ultimate Customization Showcase held last night. There’ll be a plethora of options for every facet of you as the player character and your criminal gang. From looks, to rides, even your hideout and weapons – it seems that very little will be off the table when the game arrives later this summer.

Some of the brand new features introduced in this outing include asymmetrical facial customisation. Put simply, this means you can make one side of your face look entirely different to the other. This level of granularity also stretches to weapons too, allowing you to recolour even individual parts of your guns.

Players are also promised ‘zero restrictions’ when it comes to gender, and of course there’s loads of different voices, emotes, body mods and more. There’s prosthetics, tattoo options, costumes and so, so much more. Vehicle customisation is of course also back, and with 80 different vehicles to start from, there’s a lot of car-canvases to play with.

And of course, the Saints are used to converting an old Church to their hideout, and it’s no different here. However, this time you’ll get to customise that extensively too. Fancy a big statue of yourself in the foyer? Sure thing. You can check out all this and more in the Saints Row Ultimate Customization Trailer below.

Saints Row arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on August 23, 2022.
