It has been over a year since Valheim made its thriving debut on PC, and it's clear this long passage of time has still not stumped players from creating intricate and astonishing in-game bases. Colossal castles, tree houses and even tropical mountain bases are just some of the more contemporary constructions the fan base has produced and shared with the community in recent times. Now, one gamer has decided to join this list, as they flexed their ingenuity by building a massive, detailed pyramid that can be entered and used to store loot.

For the uninitiated, Valheim is a survival sandbox video game that was released in February 2021. The main bulk of the gameplay comes from the situations that arise after players are dropped into a hostile world filled with enemies that become aggressive on sight. However, there is more to Valheim than just running and murdering, as the game has to have one of the most simple yet intuitive building systems in the survival genre. Much like Minecraft, players can explore Valheim's vast open-world to pillage blocks of wood and stone, then use said materials to build structures.

Now, one player known as OhhhBoyyyyy has mastered Valheim's in-game building system and revealed their stunning pyramid creation on Reddit, which has left many members of the community stunned regarding the sheer scale of the build. Soon after sharing with the Valheim subreddit, users quickly showed their support to OhhhBoyyyyy as their post received nearly 300 upvotes. Likewise, many users checked by the comment section to praise OhhhBoyyyyy in their efforts, with some left in a state of disbelief over how OhhhBoyyyyy achieved such a feat without the use of mods.

The brief video clip shared in the Reddit post shows the player hovering to offer a complete overview of the pyramid. Amazingly, despite the limitations of Valheim's building tools, the pyramid is perfectly polygonal and finished with some neat details, such as its crystal tip to allow for natural light inside the structure. On top of this, OhhhBoyyyyy went the extra mile to make the pyramid fully enterable, so they could use it as a base to store gold, materials, loot and other valuables.

In summary, as Valheim still receives many updates to this day, there will always be new things for players to try out, create, and explore. With sharing these creations with the community being part of the fun of building something in the first place, it will be interesting to see what other grand designs gamers can conjure up in the future.

Valheim is available now for PC.
