Capcom Fighting Collection Rolls Back the Years with Bonus Bundle

Very much looking forward to this. Hopefully if this does well we could look at a collection of 3D fighters such as Rivals Schools, Power Stone, and Star Gladiator. Maybe a Marvel vs Capcom Collection? Or dare I say it, a brand new Darkstalkers game?

@shonenjump86 You clearly have excellent taste! Star Gladiator was a real blast back in the day and looked amazing given the hardware constraints. I seem to remember it being a bit unforgiving at times, but that might have just been my lack of skill.

No Marvel vs Street Fighter, X-Men vs Street Fighter or Capcom vs SNK..That's going to be a hard pass from me

How hard is it to get a collection of ALL Capcom arcade games (barring any games requiring licensing agreements)?

I am kind of getting tired of downloading app after app after app.

I don't care if all the games are bought via various DLC packages, just give me one [expletive] app to curate them all!

@Amnesiac Star Gladiator is yet another game that I haven’t played but would love to. I still have Rival Schools on PS1. Really loved that game.

@shonenjump86 Somewhere in a box in my basement is a copy of Rival Schools with that “fighters edge” background Capcom was using at the time. I might have the sequel too but I can’t remember. I would love to see these games make a return. For being 3d fighters they really handle air combat well.

@shonenjump86 hopefully if this does well maybe we will see a new darkstalkers game. but there has to be some type of demand for it.

It's a shame that Powerstone 1&2 and Tech Romancer is not included. Both would have been great with online play included as well.

Capcom really needs to release a compilation of games they released on the Dreamcast. In my opinion, that was a golden time for Capcom games.

@twitchtvpat yeah, since Darkstalkers is like the main focus and Morrigan and Felicia are playable in 7 titles out of these games here I’m really hoping this collection catches on and Capcom sees that Darkstalkers has potential.

@Amnesiac Project Justice, would love to play that too. Played the Power Stones, Marvel vs Capcom, and even Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure all on the Dreamcast but unfortunately missed out on Project Justice.

I wouldn’t discount it. Night Warriors is one of the finest fighting games Capcom ever created.

The collection is worth that alone.

I want Capcom to branch out with their fighting games again. Don’t get me wrong I love Street Fighter. But that’s the only franchise they release new entries into.

I think Vampire, with the modern huge obsession with larger than life characters going on right now, would sell well. The series had the greatest cast of original characters of any fighting game series. Every Darkstalkers game was oozing with personality.

@OrtadragoonX definitely had a great cast of whacky, interesting, yet a little spooky characters. The soundtrack, animations, and of course the gameplay is what made the series great.

@GamingFan4Lyf dude, I agree 1000000%!!! But we all know the answer is because they can't resell us these games over and over again if they do that.
