There's actually a surprisingly clear link between UNO players and vikings. The venn diagram between the two seemingly disparate groups shows that they have a commonality in "People who yell a lot". It's no wonder, then, that Ubisoft's digital version of the card game now has Assassin's Creed Valhalla DLC.

As revealed in the above trailer, the viking-flavoured spin on the classic family friendly game actually makes some big changes to the classic formula. While you're still primarily trying to clear your hand of the coloured and numbered cards, the Valhalla mode incorporates the virtual tabletop as well. Surrounding the card pile in the centre are several territories, and you use playing pieces to navigate these regions in search of loot, which you can steal from other players — and you can even come to blows with them, using UNO cards in a rudimentary battle system.

It looks surprisingly involved — we're quite impressed with the effort gone into this, even if it is a strange crossover. That said, Ubisoft has incorporated its other series into the card game before — there are Far Cry, Rayman, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and even Just Dance DLC packs. Each one of these expansions, including the new Valhalla DLC, is available now, costing £3.99/$4.99.
