Lost Ark has recently seen a spectacular launch in the Western region as it became the second most played game on Steam within 24 hours of its launch. However, as the Eastern version was launched in South Korea quite a while ago, there's a significant disparity between the two versions when it comes to in-game content. Consequently, Amazon Game Studios has released an official statement that says the Western edition of Lost Ark will soon catch up to the Eastern one.

Naturally, Lost Ark gamers from the Western Hemisphere are looking forward to exciting new content that will bring them on par with their Eastern counterparts. Fortunately for them, it was recently revealed that Lost Ark would be getting a bunch of new additions, including two new Lost Ark classes called Glaivier and Destroyer, both of which are melee focused.

In addition to these two classes, developers came out with a comprehensive roadmap for Lost Ark, revealing that there will be lots of additional in-game content releasing in the upcoming two months. This includes weekly activities in the Trial Guardian Raids and a new continent called South Vern, which joins Punika as the second Tier 3 continent. Players with an item level of 1340 can venture onto this new continent to search for new quests, characters, and much more.

The first of the two upcoming classes is the Glaivier, which has two distinct skill sets, Focus and Flurry, represented by her two weapons. In comparison, Destroyers are hammer-wielding combatants who belong to the fourth Warrior Advanced Class. Besides new classes, Lost Ark will get a new guardian called Deskaluda, who will be among the most powerful Guardians in Arkesia. Players will be required to obtain a high item level of 1415 to encounter Deskaluda. Guardians are among the most formidable bosses and should not be faced alone, as one Lost Ark player found out while facing Vertus, a massive scaly beast in the Guardian Raid Level 1.

Lost Ark will also feature a few quality-of-life changes in May, including UI updates, improved party finder and party invites, among several others. Fans can also expect better co-op party play for Secret Maps, with all four members being able to submit a map to get rewards and enhanced Book of Coordination settings like using skill presets and skill runes.

Despite the head of Amazon Game Studios leaving the company, Lost Ark seems to be on an upward trajectory as far as in-game content is concerned. These new updates will ensure Lost Ark remains one of the favorite fan titles in the current MMOARPG market.
