Focus Entertainment & Saber Interactive have announced SnowRunner is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on May 31.

The off-road driving game will get its new-gen upgrades in just less than two months’ time. They’ll be able to tackle the game’s tough terrain and punishing weather conditions in up to 4K UHD resolution at 60FPS. Those on the PlayStation 5 will also enjoy Haptic Feedback support via the console’s DualSense controller.

In case you’re unfamiliar, SnowRunner positions you as a delivery driver specialising in off-road logistics. To that end, you’ll be traversing an open world with things like snow, mud, ice and more. You’ll get behind the wheel of a whole host of real-world licensed vehicles, either solo or with up to three friends in co-op.

The game also supports crossplay thanks to a recent update, allowing you to team up with others regardless of platform. And in addition, those who already own the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will also get a free upgrade. There’s a bunch of additional content to catch up on too if you’re new to the game, as SnowRunner is well into its second year of DLC. That’ll cumulate in a second expansion this Summer, which is due to be revealed soon.
