Hugecalf Studios & Secret Mode have unveiled Turbo Golf Racing, a racing/golf hybrid coming later this year to Xbox and PC.

Taking its cue from Rocket League, the game sees up to eight players behind the wheel of some rocket powered cars. They’re competing to guide their oversized golf balls through specially designed courses, all the while also racing to finish first.

Along the way, you’ll unlock and equip power cores for your ride. These will alter your car’s capabilities and allow for special moves like Roll and Ground Stomp. Naturally, you’ll also be able to customise your cars too. The team promise there’ll be loads of paint, wheels, spoilers, shield, chassis and boosters to pick from. The game supports online multiplayer with matchmaking, including cross-play between the and PC and Xbox.

There’s also set to be regular free updates after launch too, with the devs promising new courses, new power cores and new cosmetics. You can check out a trailer for the game below. There’ll first be a beta for the game this Spring, with interested players invited to sign up via the game’s official website.

After this, Turbo Golf Racing will launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC later in 2022. The game’s also going to launch immediately onto Xbox Game Pass when it does.
