For those of you who like you’re headshot action a little on the — shall we say, “artistic” side? — then Rebellion has some good news locked ‘n’ loaded for you. The latest entry in the Sniper Elite franchise — Sniper Elite 5 — will officially launch this coming May on PlayStation, PC, Xbox, and Xbox Game Pass.

Set among the backdrop of World War II, Sniper Elite 5 will see ace sharpshooter Karl Fairburne learn of “Operation Kraken” — a fiendish Nazi plot that will turn the tide of the war in the party’s favor. Behind enemy lines, and equipped with the deadliest tools of his trade, our one-man-army begins a dangerous, scalpel-precise mission to dismantle Operation Kraken and its masterminds. One bullet at a time.

Sniper Elite 5 will feature a full story campaign, complete with co-op support, as a well as a range of multiplayer modes such as the sneaky Invasion Mode, which sees players pop up in each other’s campaigns to throw a few bullets into the works, and typical Multiplayer action, as players battle it out online to be the Last Sniper Standing… or laying.

Additionally, Rebellion has revealed details of the game’s season pass, which will offer access to a slew of post-launch content, including new weapons, character skins, weapon skins, and two additional campaign missions. Players who pre-order Sniper Elite 5 will also receive access to the exclusive “Wolf Mountain” mission, which will pit your sniping skills against Hitler’s elite guard on a mission to take down the Fuhrer himself. Now they’ll never save your brain, Hitler.

Sniper Elite 5 launches May 26 on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms. It will also be made available on Xbox Game Pass on launch day.
