Deep Silver and its Fishlabs studio have dropped a new update for their 2021 space shooter Chorus.

As per the game’s official blog, the free 1.6 update adds some new features for new-gen consoles and PC. Front and centre of these is the option of ray tracing support, adding realistic reflections to surfaces on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Enabling the option will set the gameplay to 30FPS at a 4k dynamic resolution.

Elsewhere, the update also adds some adaptive trigger support for the DualSense for those playing on the PlayStation 5. PC owners, meanwhile, also benefit from improved support for HOTAS controllers when piloting your sentient ship Forsaken. There’s also support for NVIDIA’s DLAA tech thrown in there too.

Naturally, the patch also includes some balancing tweaks for all formats too, including adjusting the damage from collisions. There’s also a few bug fixes, Japanese language localisation and more – you can get the details in the full patch notes just over here.

Chorus released at the tail end of last year, and sees you playing as Nara. She’s a fugitive who’s turned her back on the cult that raised her. You can check out a trailer for the new Chorus update for yourself down below. The update is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
