Marvel’s Avengers fans have been able to play as Black Panther for some time now, as the War for Wakanda expansion was released several months ago. However, even Marvel’s Avengers players that have spent hours leveling up and playing as the King of Wakanda have likely missed out on a neat aspect of the character’s Kimoyo Beads ability.

Every hero in Marvel’s Avengers has a Support Heroic Ability, and Black Panther’s sees gamers wielding the hero’s signature Kimoyo Beads. This gadget can be spec’d out in many ways, with the Beads able to heal allies or stun enemies depending on the version used. However, with the Beads being so small and finding their targets very quickly, players will often never see the spherical gadgets up close. Fortunately, one Redditor has gone out of their way to examine the item, and they have found an awesome but easily missable detail.

If Marvel’s Avengers players look closely at the Kimoyo Beads, they will not only see some neat purple textures, but the Black Panther logo engraved in the side of the device. This is some excellent attention to detail on the part of Crystal Dynamics, as most would never actually see the logo since the Kimoyo Beads are small and move away from T’Challa once thrown. Unsurprisingly, a few commenters shared that they had not seen this detail, with the post bringing in a few hundred upvotes as well.

The hidden logo is a great example of how much care went into the War for Wakanda expansion, and fans can only hope that future Marvel’s Avengers DLC will include the same level of detail. As for what will be coming to Marvel’s Avengers in the near future, leaks have indicated that She-Hulk is coming to the game soon, with Winter Soldier also rumored. War Machine and Captain Marvel have been found by dataminers as well, though it remains to be seen if they will ever come to the game.

As fans wait for Marvel’s Avengers’ Roadmap to see what content will be following War for Wakanda and the addition of Black Panther, Crystal Dynamics has continued adding fresh cosmetics to the game. Recently, Avengers: Age of Ultron’s Black Widow costume made it to the game alongside Spider-Man: Far From Home’s Stealth Suit. Though it is unclear what skins will be added for Black Panther going forward, fans can appreciate the Kimoyo Bead detail no matter what costume they have on.

While many are understandably concerned about Marvel’s Avengers’ future, as no major content has been added for some time now, hopefully the roadmap is exciting and reassuring. If it is, more gamers could be motivated to hop into the game to help uncover details like this one.

Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
