Ubisoft has dated the third & final major paid DLC for Far Cry 6, with Joseph: Collapse set for February 8.

The chapter puts players as Far Cry 5 villain Joseph Seed in a twisted version of that game’s Hope County. They’ll then face off against waves of enemies based on those in the previous game. They’ll earn better weapons the longer they survive in Far Cry 6‘s version of the roguelite genre.

As per the blurb: “Blending intense action and storytelling, Joseph: Collapse will provide a unique opportunity for players to tap into Joseph’s tortured mind, face off against his former cult followers after his faith has collapsed, and ultimately confront his family members as he struggles to conquer his inner demons.”

The Collapse chapter completes the trilogy of DLC based around classic Far Cry villains. In November we got the Far Cry 3 villain’s chapter in Vaas: Insanity. Last month was the turn of Far Cry 4 big bad, Pagan Min in his Control DLC. All three are available either standalone or in the game’s Season Pass.

That’s not been the only DLC news for Far Cry 6 this week. Just a couple of days ago, the shooter got its second of three planned free crossover chapters based on Rambo. A Stranger Things tie-in is still yet to come, and that will also be free to all players.
