Publisher Devolver Digital has announced that Shadow Warrior 3 will release on March 1, as previously rumoured.

The company did so by way of a new trailer for the upcoming OTT shooter. It’s a trailer that doesn’t so much break the fourth wall but rips through it in the same way protagonist Lo Wang tears through a demon’s flesh with his katana. You can check it out for yourself down below.

While they were at it, the announcement also revealed the voice cast for the game, including Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’s Mike Moh as Wang and Andromeda Dunker as Motoko. Comedian and voice actor SungWon Cho is the voice of sidekick Orochi Zilla while Alex Dobrenko returns as Hoji.

Shadow Warrior 3 was set to land in 2021 when it was revealed in July the year prior. The world did its thing and so the adventure was delayed into 2022 by October of last year. The March date was previously let slip after listings were spotted on the PlayStation and Xbox Stores earlier this month. The listings also revealed the game on consoles will be available with a pre-order bonus of the first two games of the series too.

Fingers crossed, this’ll be the date that sticks. Shadow Warrior 3 arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on March 1.
