While Microsoft and Rare's swashbuckling pirate game Sea of Thieves has had a slightly rocky launch, it has grown into a title with a solid and dedicated fanbase. Originally released in 2018, the game has seen some massive success, with Sea of Thieves reaching an impressive sales milestone last year on Steam. The developer has been fans with tons of new additions to Sea of Thieves, including special themed pirate ships that players can use while sailing around.

These pirate ships can be customized as well, where players can show off their own personal style. This is all done through Sea of Thieves' Pirate Emporium, the in-game store. This store lets players to buy Ancient Coins, a form of currency that can be bought using real money, allowing players to get pet companions, unique ship parts, emotes, and much more. One of these unique cosmetics is a special glowing Lodestar-themed costume and matching pirate ship.

The Twitter account for the game showed off a brief clip of this special pirate ship in Sea of Thieves, along with the other cosmetics. The ship itself is draped in glowing stars that depict the Lodestar constellation, which is draped across its sails. The rest of the vessel is covered in stars, on both sides and its bow, giving players not only cross the celestial sea. Players will also be able to dress themselves in a matching Lodestar costume, which turns their entire body into the corresponding constellation. This can be equipped with or without the matching starry hairstyle, and as the clip demonstrates, it glows in both the day and night.

This costume will allow players to get a unique stargazing emote, where they can sit on a barrel and look to the skies. Players will also be able to obtain matching lodestar-themed pets in Sea of Thieves, with the Pirate Emporium showing off a cat and parrot that is given a unique constellation skin. A set of uniquely skinned Lodestar weapons and Spyglass are available through this store.

There are plenty of other unrelated emotes and cosmetics available for purchase within the Pirate Emporium in Sea of Thieves, along with a special Plunder Pass for Season 5 that players can purchase. Players who wish to get these special constellation-themed items should look into getting it as soon as it can, as the items within the in-game store refresh and rotate each month, as it could be awhile before it makes another appearance in the shop.

Sea of Thieves is out now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
