505 Games and AllIn! Games have announced that upcoming Ghostrunner DLC Project_Hel has slipped from January to March.
The news was broken via the game’s official Twitter account. (As spotted by Gematsu.) “We appreciate your understanding,” the message to fans read. “We will use this bonus time to make even more worthwhile improvements while ensuring the health & safety of our global partners.”
Project_Hel was originally announced last month, and follows the exploits of one of Ghostrunner‘s former bosses after the events of the main game. Hel has her own set of parkour powers and abilities, and you’ll be descending Dharma Tower rather than ascending. Keeping things fresh, the expansion will also focus more on combat. To that end, Hel will have her own enemies and bosses to deal with. That should mix things up nicely.
Ghostrunner has proven very successful since its launch back in October of 2020. So much so that a sequel has already been announced by publisher 505 Games. There’s been no further details since, but presumably this expansion will tide fans over in the interim. The parkour-focused first person action adventure also got two new game modes back in September of 2021.
Pending any further delays, Ghostrunner Project_Hel lands on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on March 3.
