Square Enix will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts with a live event in Tokyo on 10th April 2022. There won't be a livestream for fans to watch, but a VOD will be available "at a later date", the official Twitter account says. It will play host to "a mini concert, a chat and Q&A with the development team, an exhibition and much more".
While the event won't be something Kingdom Hearts fans can tune in live for, you have to assume any major reveals will be shared with the world. Players have already drawn comparisons with the Shibuya Hikarie skyscraper, which is both where the event will take place and features in the Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind fight with Yozora.

KH IV announcement!!! Cant wait!!!
A teaser of KH4 would be nice and maybe, just maybe....something something Verum Rex with Yozora as the main character. That would be great to see.
Man I'm scared, but excited at the same time to finally start this series. It's installed and I just need to finish the game I'm on now. Hopefully it won't disappoint. Dolan pls

If its like KH 3 then i think its time to let it go. Biggest disappointment for me last gen (having previously been obsessed with KH and buying a PSP and various nintendo handhelds in order to experience the various spin offs).

I can't stand it when they do **** like this. Why wouldn't you want to livestream this to your fans, especially if there are going to be interesting announcements? Why even give us an April 10 date if the vast majority of people won't be able to watch it until later? It's so stupid.
As for KH4 (or whatever strange name Nomura gives it), the pessimistic side of me is winning out by saying we won't get anything related to it.

If it’s KH4 and is as terrible as 3 then I’m officially done with the franchise. Waited 10 bloody years for that game and it was almost as bad as RE:Coded.

Also maybe they'll finally get around to officially announcing the rumored Kingdom Hearts series that's coming to Disney Plus?
@BoldAndBrash I played the entire series on PS4 (having played I and II on PS2 years ago) and can't recomend enough! The story is deep, engaging, and everything clicks, and the gameplay keeps evolving. Play it.
