Devolver Digital’s Shadow Warrior 3 may be arriving with us in March, if storefront listings are anything to go by.

The dates were spotted by Gematsu, noting updates for both the Xbox Store and PlayStation Store pages for the game. While it was announced back in October the game would be delayed into early 2022, both pages have gone up with a more specific March 1 release date. Lovely stuff.

As a quick refresher; you’re former corporate shogun Lo Wang who sets off with their sidekick Orochi Zilla to recapture an ancient dragon they accidentally unleashed. Whoopsie. You’ll be using both your trusty katana blades and an arsenal of guns on your journey. It’s a journey that promises to take you around uncharted parts of the world with a dash of Asian mythology thrown in too. Expect dynamic combat arenas, loads of OTT action and brutal finishers.

Both stores also boast a pre order-bundle too, which gets players both of the first two games in the Shadow Warrior reboot series. On top of that, they also get a limited edition katana skin as DLC. However, there’s no official announcement from Devolver yet, so it’s possible this March 1 date might be a placeholder.

We’ll update this story should we hear further confirmation. For now, Shadow Warrior 3 arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in early 2022.
