Despite one of the most controversial launches in recent gaming history, Cyberpunk 2077 has managed to pull itself out of the reputation its launch landed it in. While there's still many steps to go before Cyberpunk 2077 becomes what many fans expected it to be, many are now seeing the game as less of a mess rife with bugs and glitches.

Even following the controversial launch of Cyberpunk 2077, many fans were still able to have fun with the game. Now, as new players continue to make their way into Night City, Cyberpunk 2077 has seen a surge of positivity from players and reviewers. In 2021 Cyberpunk 2077 was one of Steam's most played games of the year. Though there is a main quest, there are also plenty of side objectives and exploration to be done in the game world of Night City. Many Cyberpunk 2077 players are finding fun to be had in other ways, such as one player who might just hold the world record for most burritos collected in a video game.

The player, who posted a photo of their burrito-filled in-game apartment on Reddit, was initially trying to find out how many protagonist V could collect in Cyberpunk 2077. As food doesn't have any carry weight in the game, the player quickly found out there was no limit to the amount of burritos that V could carry, and so the player then proceeded to fill their in-game apartment with them. Using the game's photo mode, the player posted a picture of V looking proud of themselves sitting atop a giant pile of burritos. While there are mods that allow players to redecorate their apartment in Cyberpunk 2077, throwing burritos everywhere is another option for a player looking to redecorate without mods.

Commenters were quick to praise the post both for its hilarity and the impressive amount of burritos collected by the player. One commenter wrote "the alternative path towards the major leagues," suggesting the sale of burritos would be a much quicker way for V to get rich than crime and looting. Another compared the burrito-filled apartment to the player homes filled with cheese wheels in The Elder Scrolls Skyrim.

Whether players are filling their apartments with burritos or following the main quest to remove a lethal microchip from V's head, there appears to be plenty of fun to be had in Cyberpunk 2077 for fans. However, the game's rocky launch is still haunting its reputation and that of its developer, CD Projekt Red, who faced a lawsuit from investors. This lawsuit against CD Projekt Red was settled out of court in the middle of December, and so Cyberpunk 2077 may soon be able to move on slowly from its launch.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
