Hidden Deep Plunges Into Early Access Next Month

Daedalic Entertainment is about to invite you into a world swimming with horrors when Hidden Deep begins Early Access on 24 January 2022.

Hidden Deep, a sci-fi horror homage to frightening 90s flicks, is about to finish testing the waters and is now set to arrive on PC, via Steam Early Access, on 24 January 2022. The news that this terrifying new title is coming to desktops and laptops alike just dropped and developer Cogwheel Software are preparing to trap players in a cast suboceanic facility where individuals must command their team, and find out what went very wrong in this eerie environment.

Along the way, anybody able to make it out alive will be expected to explore the depths of this facility, navigating mining operations and research lad to find the missing crew. There are plenty of tools to do this, from grappling hooks to drones and the odd demolition charge. Assuming the entire facility isn’t blown into the blue abyss, then the only other danger is the alien lifeforms that we’re guessing are not entirely friendly.

Daedalic dropped a brand new trailer ahead of the Early Access launch of this new dive into terror. Clearly clipping plenty of inspiration from The Abyss, Aliens, Half-Life and more this is an all out claustrophobic encounter with more than 20 hours of story mode already on offer. For anybody who wants to try out the title before January, Closed Beata testing is ongoing. The team behind Hidden Deep has just added co-op content to the title today, meaning players can work together with online partners and friends to overcome challenges and specific cooperative missions, that we assume means more content beyond the main narrative arc. To head out into the Closed Beta test or wishlist the Early Access release, head over to the official Steam Store Page now.
