Guerrilla Games has offered a closer look at three of the most ferocious machines Aloy will face in upcoming sequel Horizon Forbidden West.

The new video focuses mainly on three new threats: the Rollerback, the Sunwing and the Slitherfang. Each one will provide a dangerous challenge for Aloy to overcome, as they patrol their respective environments. The armoured Rollerback will require a careful approach, with its heavy armour protecting its hide.

Meanwhile the air will be just as dangerous as the ground, thanks to the Sunwing. Though graceful, their swiftness might catch an unaware hunter off guard. Finally, the monstrous Slitherfang appears to be a giant snake that roams the desert, stalking the sand and wrapping itself around buildings.

Guerrilla has been steadily drip-feeding more and more info on the game as we creep closer to launch. These have included insight into the game’s combat, but also some of the humans Aloy will encounter along her journey. Yesterday, the studio also offered up some screenshots of the game running on PlayStation 4 too, and it still manages to look impressive even on the older hardware.
