Sci-fi shooter Chorus has launched today, and of course that means there’s a fancy trailer to mark the occasion.

To catch you up, the game puts you as pilot Nara who happens to have a sentient ship named Forsaken. Together, they go from deadliest warriors to most wanted fugitives. You’ll be fighting The Circle, a nefarious cult headed up by mysterious figurehead The Great Prophet. Expect “a compelling journey of redemption, expertly balancing the spectacle of space exploration with frenetic, fast-paced action.”

You’ll be fighting plenty of enemy starfighters, huge battleships and unknown entities from the Void. Expect plenty of frenetic space-shooting action and intense zero-g dogfights. Along the way, you’re also encouraged to upgrade the weapons and abilities of your ship. There’s also plenty of side missions for you to get your teeth into off the well-treaded path.

The sci-fi visuals lend themselves well to next-gen consoles, and include 4K/60FPS, advanced ship destruction features and more. You can see for yourself in the game’s launch trailer, which you can find embedded down below.

The game was first revealed back in 2020 and comes from developer Deep Silver Fishlabs. Chorus is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia and PC.
