Skunkape Games has announced it’ll be releasing Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in December.

Following on from last year’s sprucing up of Season One, the team have now turned their attention to the second season of duo’s former Telltale adventures. Skunkape’s artists have upscaled all of the game’s graphical assets to bring them up to date. There’s also engine improvements such as dynamic lighting and shadows.

The team at Skunkape have even tweaked character models based on feedback from series creator Steve Purcell. Skunkape Games is made up of former Telltale staff too and they’ve gone back through the game to improve sequences and even choreograph new ones. In addition, there’s re-recorded audio and even brand new music tracks too.

There’s plenty of quality of life improvements too. Players can now return to previous episodes to collect any decals they may have missed. Naturally, there’s also the improvements seen in last year’s remaster, including better controls and accessibility features. This includes the ability to turn off flashing light effects and skip the driving mini-game.

You can check out a trailer for the remaster below. Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered lands on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on December 8.
