Bandai Namco has announced that Mr. Driller DrillLand will arrive on Xbox and PlayStation consoles on November 4.

The game is the newest entry in the long-running puzzle series, and is a remaster of the 2002 iteration that originally released in Japan on the GameCube. It’s of course had a spit and polish, with updates to the gameplay, graphics and cutscenes too. As always, you’ll be destroying colourful blocks while trying to avoid running out of air or being crushed.

The premise this time sees our drilling heroes invited to a secret underground theme park called Drill Land. Located 500 meters underground, players will have to make their way through five different “attractions” in the park. Each of these attractions gives its own twist on the familiar Mr. Driller formula, with a boss at the end of each run.

There’s of course competitive multiplayer modes allowing you to play with up to three additional players on the same console. And if you just prefer to dig and explore at your own pace, there’s a ‘Casual Mode’ too.

The game originally launched last year back on Nintendo Switch and PC, and it’s that version’s trailer you can see below. Mr. Driller DrillLand arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on November 4.
