Assassin's Creed Valhalla was one of the biggest games of 2020, and Ubisoft has kept fans engaged with updates and new expansions. So far, Assassin's Creed Valhalla fans have been able to check out the Wrath of the Druids and and The Siege of Paris expansions, and now it seems the game's next major DLC has leaked online.

Well-known Assassin's Creed leaker and dataminer j0nathan has uncovered evidence that the next Assasssin's Creed Valhalla expansion will be called Dawn of Ragnarok. This expansion will supposedly be set in Svartalfheim, with Valhalla protagonist Eivor potentially getting new powers, including invisibility, teleportation arrows, and more. These assumptions are made based on a leaked list of achievements/trophies that will supposedly accompany the Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok expansion. This information hasn't been confirmed at the time of this writing, so fans should take it with a grain of salt, but it wouldn't be surprising if it turned out to be accurate.

It's unclear exactly when this leaked Dawn of Ragnarok expansion may release for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It's possible that it will be out by the end of the year, but the more likely scenario is that it will drop in 2022. Ubisoft has already released the aforementioned Wrath of the Druids and Siege of Paris expansions for Assassin's Creed Valhalla in 2021, and one would think that the Dawn of Ragnarok reveal would've already happened if it was coming this year.

This Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok leak is just the latest Assassin's Creed leak to come about lately. Recently, a Redditor who provided evidence to back up their claims offered more information on the mysterious Assassin's Creed Infinity project. According to that leak, Assassin's Creed Infinity will be somewhat similar in structure to the latest Hitman games, with players having to tackle missions in open areas while reliving classic Assassin's Creed stories.

If the Assassin's Creed Infinity leak is accurate, it seems that players will also get to play as classic Assassins from previous games in the series. Whether or not there's any truth to the Assassin's Creed Infinity leaks remains to be seen, and it's unclear exactly when fans will find out one way or another.

For now, Assassin's Creed fans still have some Valhalla content to look forward to, like this leaked Dawn of Ragnarok expansion, for example. Once Ubisoft winds down its post-launch support for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, it may give fans a better idea of what to expect from the future of the franchise.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
