Elyon, the MMO once dubbed AIR: Infinite Ascent is out today with plenty of loot on offer for new heroes.
Elyon, the brand new steampunk fantasy MMORPG from Kakao Games and Bluehole Studio is out today. After an initial rumors surfaced bac in 2017, a name change in 2020, and delayed release, this much anticipated free to play adventure is now available globally. Players looking to jump in straight away should be able to grab this game for PC over on the official website, but don’t be too surprised if there are queues to log in. While Elyon goes live today, service will begin with one server per region. Additional servers are expected to come online in proportion to potential queue waits. Just a normal MMO launch really.
While there has been plenty of hype around Amazon’s new player on the market, Elyon has a very different experience. Set in a world where magic and mechanics are intertwined, players find themselves lost in a strange new land. As you explore the mysterious environment and try to reclaim your sense of self, three factions ravage the world as they battle for control of Elyon. Wielding deep character customization, skill-building, weapon choices, one-of-a-kind PvP, PvE, and more, Elyon seeks to provide a rich, exciting experience for every play style, and it definitely has some pedigree behind it. Coming from the same studio that designed Tera, Elyon should be a great escape for this weekend and beyond.
Loot
If you’re not sure about yet another MMO then take a look at the launch trailer for an idea of what awaits, and head over to Twitch for a longer look at the experience. While you’re there you’ll be able to grab in game loot with Twitch Drops rewards. This includes the following items:
