Nintendo has announced a launch date and pricing details for its upcoming Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack service.

As a refresher, the Expansion Pack is an addition to the existing Nintendo Switch Online service. On top of the usual benefits such as online multiplayer and SNES games, this new offering adds several extra features. These include N64 and Sega Mega Drive games. Nintendo made the additional announcement today that subscribers will also get access to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy House Paradise expansion.

On launch day, there’ll be nine N64 games including titles like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Mario Kart 64. Further down the line, more games like Banjo Kazooie and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask are to come. The games will also run in 60Hz mode, with some having the option for their original Euro-specific 50Hz modes.  The Sega Mega Drive side, meanwhile, will include Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Streets of Rage 2 as well as twelve other titles. You can read the full list of both sets of classic games over in the original reveal.

The expanded service will cost a total of £34.99, and seems it’ll only be available to buy on an annual plan. However, you will also be able to buy a Family Membership, allowing up to 8 accounts to utilise the features. This will cost £59.99 for twelve months.
