Röki is an indie title that hit PC and Switch last year, but it's making the leap to PlayStation 5 very soon indeed. Based on Scandinavian folklore, this is an adventure game with monsters, magic, and a slightly dark edge.

You play as Tove, a young girl who's put on a journey of self-discovery. Along the way, you'll help her solve puzzles, meet all kinds of creatures, and explore her past. There will also be plenty of curiosities to collect, which seem to take all forms. The game looks like a light-hearted adventure at first glance, but it appears to also deal with some serious subject matter.

Over on the PlayStation Blog, Alex Kanaris Sotiriou of developer Polygon Treehouse says the game is the team's take on classic adventure titles. Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, and Grim Fandango are some inspirations behind Röki, although this isn't a point n' click title, and the puzzles have solutions that make "real-world sense".

We're certainly curious to give this game a try when it comes out in a few weeks, but what about you? Tell us in the comments section below.
