Wired Productions has released a new trailer for Arcade Paradise, a 90’s inspired retro adventure aiming for a Spring 2022 launch.

The game sees you take on the role of Ashley, who’s taken on the role of their father’s laundry business. However, rather than washing sheets, you’ve decided you’d rather turn the place into a full on arcade. You’ll get to not only pick the machines and buy them, but you’ll get to play them too.

Of course, you’ll still be expected to turn a profit, so you’ll have to set the high scores first. There’ll be over 35 different games to pick from, inspired by classic games from the 70s through to the 90s. These include vector-based ones all the way up to games inspired by the early 32 bit era. Several of these will even be playable with friends co-operatively and competitively with up to 4 local players.

You’ll be guided in your endeavours by your father, who’ll phone to both berate you and offer wisdom. It’s likely you’ll recognise his voice too, as it’s being provided by none other than the voice of Geralt from The Witcher: Doug Cockle. You can check out a trailer for the game below.

Arcade Paradise is currently set for release in Spring 2022 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo switch and PC. A demo is also available now on Steam.
