Square Enix and PlatinumGames have detailed the next beta test for their upcoming RPG Babylon’s Fall, and detailing their changes based on feedback so far.

The latest Closed Beta Phase 2 report detailed how the second round of testing introduced PlayStation 4 players into the pool. The team prepared their servers for a capacity twice that of the first stage, but wound up with approximately three times as many users. However, no major issues arose and there was no effect on matchmaking.

Elsewhere, the studio also reported on improvements to the game’s graphics. Apparently, this has been a very popular issue with those who’ve taken part in the Babylon’s Fall beta thus far. As a result, Platinum say they have been working hard to improve visibility accordingly. The studio also claims that it’s improving the game’s movement and responsiveness. You can see some of these improvements in this short video.

The next phase of testing then will add PlayStation 5 players to the pool. It’ll also see PlatinumGames turn on cross-platform multiplayer with six quests. If you’ve played in previous Closed Betas, you’ll be allowed in this one too. New players interested in taking part are advised to sign up here before October 28, and you’ll get an email one week before testing starts.

As for those all important Babylon’s Fall beta testing dates; phase three will kick off on Monday, November 15 at 9am UK time. You’ll have a couple of days to play before servers close once more on November 17.

There’s still no final release date yet, but Babylon’s Fall will land on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC when it does.
