Kena: Bridge of Spirits doesn't have a massive map, but players will want to travel back to previous locations to help Kena collect everything in the game. From Rot hats and all the Spirit Mail locations, there is a lot to collect, and fast travel will make getting them all a little bit faster.

Unlocking Fast Travel Spots in Kena: Bridge of Spirits

Fast travel is tied closely to the story of Kena: Bridge of Spirits. As players progress through the map, they will walk by little blue flames on what look like mini shrines. They are tall, diamond-shaped stones carved with symbols, and the Rot tend to pose on them when Kena activates one. Each of these is a fast travel point that Kena can travel to, and Kena activates them by just wandering close enough to them.

On the map, players will see each of these points as a white flame inside of a white bowl. But players can't just simply select a part of Kena's beautiful and stunning world to travel to. They will have to do one quick thing first.

How to Fast Travel Between Points in Kena

First players will have to unlock the map in Kena: Bridge of Spirits. This is tied closely to completing the first parts of the story. Once the map is accessible, players will be able to access it by pressing the touchpad button in the center of the PlayStation controllers or M on the PC keyboard.

In Kena, players will have to be standing fairly close to a fast travel waypoint in order to travel to a different one. If they are not close enough, an error will appear on screen that will prompt them to move closer to the fast travel waypoint. After getting close enough to the waypoint, Kena can travel to whatever other waypoint that players have unlocked.

The best use for these waypoints is to help with collectibles. There are several of these in the game: Rot, Rot hats, Spirit Mail, flower shrines, meditation locations, cursed chests, and all 42 PlayStation trophies for Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Some of these can only be had the second or third time that Kena visits a location. Players might also want to go back to previous locations to retry some difficult challenges, change the hats of all the Rot, and try to find missed corrupted shrines and treasure chests.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is available for PC, PS4, and PS5.
