Xbox Game Pass continues to be central to Xbox's plans in the current console generation, and frequent new additions to the service continue to be the best way to keep Xbox Game Pass looking attractive. Typically, Xbox likes to make these announcements itself, marketing each game's availability. That's not always the case, however. A great recent example is Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, a unique strategy/simulation title now confirmed to be launching on Xbox Game Pass day one.

Developer Strange Scaffold made the announcement this past Thursday via a new trailer for Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator. Strange Scaffold confirmed that Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator will arrive on Xbox Game Pass the day it launches this winter, available on both PC and Xbox consoles. Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator was originally announced in January of this year, and while it isn't a major game release, it does have its niche of followers.

The situation is odd in that Xbox itself has neither announced nor marketed the addition of Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator for Xbox Game Pass. Traditionally, Xbox will feature any new Game Pass announcements in a blog or video regarding upcoming titles. At the very least, it'll share trailers on the Xbox Youtube channel. However, Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator's Game Pass announcement was shared solely through Strange Scaffold's YouTube channel and social media pages.

It's possible that Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator is too small or too odd of a game for Microsoft to feature prominently, though given the diversity of titles on Xbox Game Pass, that seems unlikely. It's perhaps more likely that it's too early to advertise Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, given its winter 2021 release window. If that's the case, however, it seems odd Strange Scaffold would announce it now rather than waiting. Regardless, it's an exciting reveal.

Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator is a unique offering, to say the least. The name truly captures what the strategy/simulation game offers, as players will be purchasing and selling organs on a galactic organ market. Its user interface is an organ exchange, including charts for organ values and profiles for other traders and clients. There's also, of course, a video feed of still-beating alien organs to view.

Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator is coming from the developer of An Alien Airport For Aliens Currently Run By Dogs and El Paso, Elsewhere. Suffice to say, it's going to be an interesting experience at the very least. For Xbox Game Pass subscribers, it'll be available at no extra cost.
